Kamotsuru (Crane of Kamo) is Saijo's most prominent brewery, famously served at the 2008 US-Japan summit dinner hosted by President Obama. The brewery's Gold Label Daiginjo Tokubetsu is a perennial competition winner. Using Hiroshima's characteristic soft water, Kamotsuru produces elegant, refined sakes that showcase the gentle Hiroshima style.
