Gassan Sake Brewery

Named after sacred Mt. Gassan, one of the three Dewa Sanzan pilgrimage mountains, this brewery uses subterranean water filtered through volcanic rock. Located in Sagae city, Gassan produces clean, mineral-driven sakes that reflect the mountain's spiritual purity. Their Ginjo and Junmai lines are consistent favorites at Yamagata prefectural competitions.
