Izumibashi Megumi Junmai Ginjo

Izumibashi Megumi Junmai Ginjo is brewed by Izumibashi Sake Brewery from Yamada Nishiki milled to 55%. An acidity of 1.35 and an amino-acid level of 1.15 frame a balanced palate, with a Sake Meter Value of +2 at 16% alcohol giving a near-dry finish. Izumibashi is distinctive for cultivating much of its own sake rice, a farm-to-bottle approach rare among breweries, and its dragonfly emblem symbolizes the rice paddies it tends. The 55% milling places this expression in the Junmai Ginjo grade.

Megumi (Blessing) is Izumibashi's flagship estate-grown Junmai Ginjo. Rice from the brewery's own paddies, farmed without pesticides, and Sagami plain groundwater produce a sake with unique terroir character — clean, minerally, with subtle green notes that reflect the organic field ecosystem.
