About
Dewazakura (Cherry Blossom of Dewa) in Tendo city is credited with popularizing ginjo sake as an everyday drinking style. Their Oka (Cherry Bouquet) Ginjo, launched in 1980, was one of the first affordable ginjo sakes and became a massive hit. The brewery was instrumental in creating the DEWA33 Yamagata appellation system.
