Brewed by Asahi Shuzo in Niigata, it reaches 15% ABV with a sake meter value of +5, placing it on the dry side, and a low acidity of 1.15. Its flavor leans dry, with fruit and rice. Senju helped establish the idea of a quality everyday sake suited to a wide range of dishes, from sashimi to grilled meats.
