Umenoyado Sake Brewery

Umenoyado (Plum Lodging) in Katsuragi, Nara has reinvented itself as one of Japan's most innovative craft sake breweries. While their traditional sake is excellent, they gained national fame with their fruit-infused sake liqueurs (umeshu, yuzu, etc.) that introduced a new generation to sake culture. Their Junmai Daiginjo shows serious ginjo craft alongside the playful fruit line.
